'Embarrassment, anger, frustration' - Former Sheffield Wednesday man talks passionately on Owls' demise
‘Flash’ Gordon Watson says it makes him sad and angry to see the current state of his former club, Sheffield Wednesday, under Dejphon Chansiri.
Watson spent a few years playing for Wednesday in the early 1990s before being sold to Southampton, and experienced some fantastic times among some of the best players that have graced the field at Hillsborough. He also nearly came back years later, but thought it’d be unfair given his injury troubles at the time.
Speaking on the All Wednesday show via Casino.org, who aid players in finding UK casinos, he spoke of his anger and embarrassment at how things are going for his former employers, but also spoke about some of the good times he had whilst playing in blue and white as well.
You can check out a clip of the show at the top of the page, or tune in for the full episode below as the ex-Owl discusses *that* dive against Leeds United, his love for the city, and what he thinks about the way things have been handled with some of the club’s legends.
