Sheffield flats: Almost 500 luxury student flats set to open on Broad Lane this year offering 'puppy yoga'

True Student on Broad Lane will have apartments to rent for up to £1,100-a-month with a programme of events set to include “pamper nights, puppy yoga and workshops exploring real life skills.”

The development is just for students from the University of Sheffield and Sheffield Hallam University.

It is part of an apartment building boom in the area which includes 234 flats in a 17-storey tower under construction on the site next door.

Further down the road, Weston Tower on Tenter Street has been empty for years but could soon be demolished and replaced by flats.

On nearby Corporation Street, two blocks with 368 flats in Soho Yard are nearing completion.

And a large office near Sheffield Cathedral is being turned into £21m luxury flats for young professionals and ‘downsizers’.

The Synergy Building on Hartshead will offer “a new level of luxury living.”

It was home to firms including Lupton Fawcett lawyers and Pitman Training. Now it is set to be up to 108 apartments.
