Sheffield charity Mums In Need hosts festive evening to celebrate year of support
Mums In Need, a Sheffield charity dedicated to supporting mothers impacted by post-separation abuse, is organising a special Christmas Thank You Evening to bring the community together and mark its achievements in 2026.
The event will take place at The Victoria in Neepsend on Thursday, November 26, starting at 6pm. Attendees can expect an evening filled with festive music, food, and drink, alongside opportunities to reconnect with friends, network with local businesses, and enjoy a celebratory atmosphere.
A highlight of the evening will be a raffle featuring a range of exciting prizes. Tickets are priced at £20, which includes a welcome drink and freshly made pizza. All proceeds from the event will go directly to Mums In Need to support their vital work.
Laura Riley, founder and CEO, said: “As a team, we’ve worked so hard this year and have helped dozens of local families to navigate the trauma of post-separation abuse. I’m thrilled to bring together our supporters, donors, friends and the local community to celebrate the charity’s success and kick off the festive season in style.”
Currently, Mums In Need provides tailored assistance to around 50 families in the Sheffield area. Their services include one-to-one caseworker sessions, counselling, peer support groups, wellbeing activities, and legal guidance. The charity’s mission focuses on helping mothers rebuild confidence, reduce isolation, and move forward safely after experiencing abuse.
Tickets for the Christmas Thank You Evening are available now through the Ticket Tailor website. Everyone is welcome to attend, so guests are encouraged to dress festively and bring friends, family, and colleagues for an enjoyable night in support of a meaningful cause.
