Famous wartime aircraft set for flypast at Peak District locations
The famous Battle of Britain Memorial Flight is heading north tomorrow - and you can see them two Peak District locations just outside Sheffield.
One of the famous aeroplanes, operated by the RAF from RAF Coningsby in Lincolnshire, is due to make two flypasts, at locations just outside the city, late on Friday morning or early on Friday afternoon (September 4).

It is not confirmed which of the planes it will be, but it could be a Spitfire, a Hurricane, or a Dakota, depending on availability.
Under plans published for Friday September 4, one of the aircraft is set to carryout a flypast over Chatsworth, with the time expected to be between 11.45am and 12.15pm.
Then, the veteran aircraft is due to carry on a little closer to Sheffield, with a second flypast due over the Longshaw estate, near Grindleford, five minutes later, between 11.50am and 12.20pm.
Chatsworth is currently hosting the Chatsworth Country Fair, while Longshaw is running the Longshaw sheepdog trials.
Flypasts are subject to aircraft availability and can sometimes be cancelled because of weather conditions.
