9am 'coffee rave' on Sheffield campus highlights shift in students' drinking habits
Meet and enjoy music together without alcohol
A Sheffield university campus will welcome students on their first day back with... a 9am ‘coffee rave.’

Music college WaterBear, on Eyre Street, will start the new term this Monday (September 21) with a brew and an early morning gig by DJ Lamour.
The morning event puts music and coffee at the heart of the welcome, alongside a Freshers programme featuring live gigs, a Wub Club takeover, creative workshops, a newly refurbished Green Room venue and scholarships supporting emerging talent.
The coffee-led welcome offers students another way to meet and enjoy music together without alcohol.
WaterBear is a Sheffield college offering undergraduate and master degrees for musicians, producers and creatives.
