Get well messages sent to "amazing" South Yorkshire headteacher rushed to hospital after heart attack shock

Warm wishers flood in as popular teacher remains ill

Messages of support have been sent to an “amazing” South Yorkshire headteacher, who was rushed to hospital after suffering a heart attack earlier this week.

Rachael Booth, headteacher of the Willows School in Thurcroft, Rotherham, suffered a heart attack on Wednesday (October 14) morning while she was at the school.

Staff and pupils at the special education place of learning on Locksley Drive were left shocked as emergency services rushed to the scene - and the school has been closed since.

It is due to open again on Monday (October 19) - though the school has not definitely confirmed this.
