Norwood Post Office set to re-locate as lease expires
It is moving 600m down the road
A Sheffield post office is re-locating as the lease expires.
Norwood Post Office on Herries Road has confirmed it will re-open on Southey Avenue “to maintain service to the community”.

The existing branch will close at 5.30pm on Thursday, October 29 and will re-open at the new premises on Monday, November 16 at 9am.
The new Post Office is approximately 600 metres from the current branch.
There will be two serving positions - one screened and a Post office serving point at the retail counter.
With any relocation, the Post Office said “it is inevitable” that whilst some customers will have an easier journey to the new location, others will have to travel further,.
“We can only apologise for this,” the Post Office said.
Before the new branch opens, Elm Lane Post Office and Parson Cross Post Office, which are both approximately under a five minute drive away from Norwood Post Office, can be used
Roadside parking is available at the new location.
The same products and services will be available at the new premises and the opening hours will remain unchanged.
