Famous funfair Farrar's back in Sheffield's Endcliffe Park with new 'white knuckle' ride

A new ride swings people 124ft in the air

A famous funfair has returned to a Sheffield park with a scary new ride.

Farrar’s launches in Endcliffe Park on Friday, June 5, and will stay for just over a week until Sunday, June 14.

Operator William Percival said rides start at £2.50, most will be £3, the Dodgems will be £4 and Extreme Booster £5.

Extreme Booster is a major addition this year. Mr Percival said it was “a white knuckle ride that’s not for the faint hearted.”

Looking like a multi-coloured wind turbine, it swings eight riders a terrifying 124ft in the air.
