The Owls are currently dealing with a COVID-19 outbreak that led to the closure of their Middlewood Road training ground and postponement of games against Coventry City and Wycombe Wanderers.
The amount of positive cases and players in self-isolation meant that they were only able to name four subs against Exeter City in the FA Cup, while their interim manager, Neil Thompson, couldn’t attend after testing positive himself.

There are indications, however, that Andre Green could be in line for an Owls debut after being registered by SWFC and meeting some of his teammates, while Jack Marriott may be back following his return from Derby County.
Josh Windass could also make his return from injury in Merseyside, and if all three are available then it gives Thompson a fair bit of choice when choosing his starting XI.
Meanwhile, the club are also waiting to find out whether the likes of Keiren Westwood, Chey Dunkley, Julian Börner and Massimo Luongo could be back available, with the break in games giving them a bit more tome to recover.
