Sheffield Wednesday are said to have shown an interest in signing another loanee from Chelsea before October 16th, with Jake Clarke-Salter reportedly on their list of targets.
The Owls snapped up Izzy Brown on a season-long loan prior to the start of the 2020/21 campaign, with the 23-year-old having made a promising start to Hillsborough with a handful of good performances.

Hide AdNow, with Garry Monk seeking to bolster his side before the transfer window closes in just over a week, Wednesday are said to be one of a number of clubs in England’s second tier who have shown an interest in one of the Blues’ left-sided centre backs.
According to goal.com, Clarke-Salter has ‘turned down overseas loan interest from Club Brugge and Trabzonspor to prioritise a move to the Championship’, with the likes of Derby County, Huddersfield Town and the team with whom he spent last season, Birmingham City, all said to have registered their interest alongside the Owls.
Wednesday have been linked with JCS earlier in the transfer window as Frank Lampard considers sending him out on loan again after the 23-year-old made a good impression during his time in Birmingham.
With the Owls having picked up number of injuries in defence recently to the likes of Dominic Iorfa, Tom Lees, Liam Shaw and Liam Palmer, Clarke-Salter could well be seen as a player who can come in to help beef up that backline ahead of what is set to be a tough season in S6.
