Grant joined us from Shamrock Rovers in May 2017 and made his only first team appearance earlier this season in our 2-0 win away at Rochdale in the Carabao Cup. Best of luck for the future, Conor!”
The player says that he’s excited to get going following his switch to the Dale, telling their website, “I’m excited to get going… My agent said to me a couple of weeks ago that Sheffield Wednesday were talking about a loan, but the gaffer here wanted a permanent deal, which I was all for. I’m really looking forward to working with him.
“I think I can develop a lot here, to be honest. I want to get as many minutes as I can and hopefully kick on.”
The midfielder, who made his senior Owls debut earlier this season, has signed a two-and-a-half year deal with Rochdale following his switch from Hillsborough this evening.
