Shaw has been a standout performer for Wednesday in recent weeks, bagging his first senior goal for the club followed by a Man of the Match award for his efforts, but his showings have not gone unnoticed elsewhere.
The 19-year-old will be out of contract at Hillsborough at the end of the season, and after entering into the last six months of his deal it is understood that Scottish giants, Celtic, have shown an interest in him.

Hide AdShaw has been with the Owls for many years and has risen up through the ranks, but The Star has reported previously that Celtic have made contact regarding a potential move to the Scottish Premiership.
Thompson, who has overseen a large chunk of Shaw’s development, was asked about his future in today’s press conference, however wasn’t giving much away.
He told the media, “That’s an ongoing situation, I’m not in a position to comment on that… It’s up to the individual, I’m not commenting on it. It’s ongoing with the club, and it’s like anyone whose contract is up. Talks take place, so that’s where we are with that.”
Meanwhile, when asked about keeping hold of the club’s young players, he replied, “It’s not just about the youngsters, it’s about keeping players that we feel can do a job for us - whether it’s this season, next season or in years to come.”
