Speaking to the media today he said, “Moses Odubajo had a hamstring issue a week or so ago. We are monitoring him at the minute. He will certainly be out for a couple of weeks at least, which is disappointing for him. But that is part of football and you have got to deal with them.

“Chey had his first training session yesterday which was good. The weekend will come a little too quick for him but we are hoping to get him back in some capacity next week.

“Liam had a shoulder injury at Exeter, he’s not been on the grass this week, so we’ll see where we go with that one.

“We’re still working through the issues of two or three weeks ago as well. It’s something that we’re mindful of.

“Joost van Aken has trained a little bit this week, hopefully he’ll get a bit of football down at Birmingham today with the U23s. If he can come through that, that’ll be good.”
