The Owls are in a good run of form of late, winning their last four games in League One as they successfully closed the gap on the Play-Off places – however they take on a Rotherham side that are flying high at the top of the table and have won their last five, all with clean sheets.

Sheffield Wednesday v Rotherham United LIVE - Owls host Millers at Hillsborough

Key Events

  • It’s a South Yorkshire derby
  • Wednesday are looking to complete a double
  • The Owls could go up to fourth today

We’ll have the manager’s reaction shortly

Stay tuned to hear what Moore has to say after that disappointing defeat.

A very tough defeat to take for Wednesday, who were the better team for practically the entire game today... But they were sucker-punched twice and lose 2-0. Unbelievable really - they deserved more.

They’ve had barely a sniff, but Rotherham are 2-0 up.

The attacker is forced off with a knock, and it’s Kamberi coming on.

More good play from the Owls as they try and turn the screw. Bannan has a shot blocked, and then NML just sees the ball get away from him.

He’s taking Hunt’s place as Moore brings on more fire power.

Don’t need to see that

Bannan telling the crowd to calm down after a bottle was thrown on the pitch.

Mendez-Laing bursts through on goal, but his first touch is just away from him and his effort on goal is too tame to really trouble Vickers. Big chance.

Then Byers is cynically followed just outside the box.

The Owls man slid in and missed the ball. He’s shown a yellow card for it.

Time-wasting tactics

Rotherham not shy in trying to get rid of a few minutes here
