Warning issued as police close Penistone Road and Sheffield buses diverted
Penistone Road in Sheffield is closed this afternoon due to a police incident.

Travel South Yorkshire, which coordinates public transport in the city, has issued a warning about the closure.
It said the outbound carriageway has been closed by the police at the junction with Clay Wheels Lane, Wadsley Bridge.

Hide AdOutbound bus services 8, 8a, 97 and 135 are being diverted via Herries Road, Wordsworth Avenue and Southey Green Road.
Inbound services are unaffected by the incident.
South Yorkshire Police has been contacted.
