She said: 'I have loved every minute of my challenge. I've met so many wonderful people along the way and really pushed myself to my limits.

'I work a Monday to Friday, nine to five, job behind a desk and I find there's nothing better than spending all of my weekends enjoying what the British national parks have to offer.

'Throw in my competitive personality and peak bagging has become a healthy way of filling my spare time with adventure.'

Nicola, aged 34, climbed her first Wainwright, the 910m high Great End on September 23 2017, and finished with 700m Pavey Ark on September 22 2018.

She added: 'As I stepped up onto the summit of my final mountain to the cheers of my closest friends, who'd joined me to celebrate, I was overcome with emotion. It's a moment I'll never forget.'

Nicola is now enjoyed a well earned rest with her friends and family before she begins preparations for her next challenge.

She is travelling to Tanzania later this month to climb Mount Kilimanjaro and is also planning to walk the length of New Zealand in 2019 or 2020.
