An upmarket hotel is advertising jobs and says bookings are ‘live’ ahead of opening in Sheffield.

Village Hotel is set to open in February and needs six people to work in its leisure centre including a personal trainer, cleaner, receptionist and three managers.

The site on Chesterfield Road South, in Batemoor, was a DoubleTree by Hilton Sheffield Park which closed in July last year.

The hotel is set to have 133 bedrooms, banquetting and meeting facilities, a swimming pool, bar, restaurant and Starbucks coffee shop.

This week the company was announced as the official training wear sponsor of Sheffield Wednesday Football Club and already have a sponsorship deal with Sheffield United to have the company logo on the sleeves of the team’s shirts.
