Sheffield city centre was a sea of red and yellow this evening – as fans of Sweden and Switzerland hit the city centre.

This picture gallery shows some of the photographs taken by Sheffield residents and organisations during the day, as fans assembled before the teams met at Bramall Lane in the UEFA womens’s Euro 2022 tournament.

The match was won 2-1 by Sweden.
