Craig Brunt was on an evening out in the city, back in 2021, when he was punched from behind.

The attack left him temporarily paralysed, he required multiple brain surgeries and had to retire at 51.
Two months after the paralysis, Craig regained his ability to walk, accompanying his daughter down the aisle on her wedding day.
This was described by Yorkshire Ambulance Service as one of his ‘dreams’.
Following the devastating attack, Craig has dedicated his time to raise awareness for the danger just one punch can cause.
He has raised money traumatic brain injury charities and now also volunteers in mental health groups as part of the Sheffield Wednesday Football Club Community Programme.
A Yorkshire Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “Last week Craig and his family reunited with Casey, who was one of the crew members who saved his life following a one punch attack in 2021.
“Craig was enjoying a night out in Sheffield when he was struck from behind.
“The attack left him temporarily paralysed, he required multiple brain surgeries and had to retire at 51.Incredibly just two months later he managed to walk his daughter down the aisle at her wedding, a dream of his.
“Since then he has continued to go from strength to strength and has raised money for traumatic brain injury charities and volunteers in mental health groups as part of the Sheffield Wednesday Football Club Community Programme.
“Despite these positives, Craig's life was changed forever because of this attack and he is spreading awareness of the devastating consequences just one punch can cause.”
