This was the scene last night after a van ploughed into the front of a shop on a busy Sheffield road.

The van was left embedded into the 7 Hills convenience store, on Ecclesall Road, following the crash at around 10:30pm on Saturday, June 27.

One witness, who wished to remain anonymous, said the driver fled the scene however this has not been confirmed.

Police, fire, and ambulance crews attended the scene.

South Yorkshire Police have been contacted for comment.
