Sheffield City Council is urging people to return their tickets if they can no longer make it
A free Christmas celebration event in Sheffield has sold out - and people who can’t attend are being urged to return their tickets so someone else can attend.
Some 4,000 people are set to attend the event on Devonshire Green from 3pm on Sunday November 15.
It is billed as a spectacular festive light show with Abba and Taylor Swift tribute acts, and a switch-on of lights on Christmas trees.
Sheffield City Council is now urging people to return their tickets via Eventbrite if they can no longer make it.
As well as the Devonshire Green event, Sheffield City Council has unveiled Christmas activities from November to January, the biggest ever market, and lights in new areas including Castlegate and Heart of the City.
