Two suspected drug dealers have been arrested in a crackdown in a Sheffield suburb.

Officers patrolling Page Hall on Monday afternoon stopped a car with links to criminality.

During a search of the vehicle a significant amount of cash was found along with Class A and B drugs.

South Yorkshire Police said: “We continue to disrupt drug supply in the area. Whilst on mobile patrol PC Daz spots a vehicle which contains two males and has links to criminality.

“The vehicle is eventually stopped and searched with the assistance PC Jo and PC Al, together with colleagues from our response team.

“The search turns up a significant quantity of cash and what are believed to be both Class A and Class B drugs.

“The two males are detained for possession with intent to supply.”
