Police appeal for mobile phone footage after Page Hall fight where men charged at each other with golf clubs
and live on Freeview channel 276
Officers issued the appeal after an anonymous video of the large scale disturbance appeared online last week, where two groups of men were charging at each other repeatedly with golf clubs and road signs.
It comes after there have been an increased number of street fights and anti-social behaviour in the Page Hall area over the last few months.

Hide AdPolice arrived at the scene on Wheldrake Road at 7.52pm on Thursday, August 20 and arrested four men on suspicion of assault.
A fifth man was arrested in connection with the street fight the following morning.
All five men who were initially arrested have now been released under investigation.
PC Nic Wood, investigating, said: “We received emergency calls about a fight between a small group of men on Wheldrake Road in Page Hall.

Hide Ad"It was reported that some members of the group had been using golf clubs as weapons.
“Officers arrived on scene in under seven minutes and made a number of arrests.
“We have already been sent some footage of the incident, but my appeal is to anyone who caught this incident on camera, to please share it with us.
“We understand that some footage may have already been circulated on social media, if you have done this, please send it to us, as it will help with our enquiries.

Hide Ad“I want to reassure people that officers dealt with the incident quickly and dispersed other groups who had gathered in the street.
"A section 35 dispersal order was also put in place; this is a preventative power, which enables us to order people to leave the area to avoid further disorder.
“As with any incidents of this nature, it’s vital that we work together and that things are reported to us, with your information we can take robust action.”
