"There have been ebbs and flows where you think 'oh it's not so bad, things are improving' and then recently it starts to build up again and you get all this going off.

"It is just heartbreaking really.

"It is effecting all of us, all of our health when you're only getting two or three hours of sleep a night then you've got to go to work and then you come home, you haven't got the energy.”

The woman hopes to sell her property and move out of the area ‘as soon as possible’.

She said she first noticed problems in Page Hall within her few months of living there, as she was plagued with fraudulent purchases, benefit claims and even a bailiff coming to her door to collect items she never purchased.

She is now urging the local authority, police, landlords and community services to work together to combat the area’s issues.

"It is so difficult to solve problems because it has been left for so long, if it had been dealt with at the start in 2014 it wouldn't be so bad now.

"It is getting out of hand."

Neighbourhood policing sergeant, Ben Hall said: “We implemented a section 35 order in the area last night which will run it to the weekend.

"This is a preventative power, meaning that we can direct people to leave the area in order to prevent further disorder.“We already have a highly visible police presence in the Page Hall area, and will have additional resources deployed there over the next few days."
