A man in Sheffield has received head injuries consistent with firearms discharge, after South Yorkshire Police were called to St Ronan’s Road yesterday.

The man was transported to hospital by ambulance, after officers were called around 10.20pm on October 22. South Yorkshire Police have said their enquiries are ongoing and are asking anyone who witnessed the incident, or may have information about what happened, to contact them.

Medical staff at the hospital deemed the man’s head injuries to be non-life threatening and he has since been discharged.
