A gunman is still walking the streets today nearly one year after a shooting which left another man fighting for life.

A 21-year-old man was critically injured after he was shot in his chest in an incident on Grimesthorpe Road, Burngreave, on Thursday, April 16.

Detectives are treating the incident as a targeted attack and made seven arrests in the immediate aftermath but nobody has yet been charged.

The seven arrested over the shooting were released with no further action to be taken.
