Tributes have also poured in for the ‘lovely’ young man on social media.

Ramey was described by a friend on Instagram as ‘always happy’.

"He was always making others smile,” the post reads. “There wasn’t a time when he wasn’t smiling or making a joke.

"Me and my friend wants the person who shot him to stop being selfish and come forward. His family and friends need answers.”

In what has been a dark few days for Sheffield the 20-year-old’s death comes just a little under 24 hours after a 28-year-old man also died in a stabbing at a block of flats in Highfield, Sharrow.

Police say that while they believe both incidents to be ‘targeted attacks’, they are not thought to be linked.

No arrests in connection with the most recent murder have yet been made.
