The victim died in hospital after being found injured on Grimesthorpe Road South, Burngreave, in the early hours of this morning (Monday, November 16).
Police later confirmed a murder investigation had been launched after what they believed to be a ‘targeted’ attack.
It comes around 24 hours after a 28-year-old man died in a suspected murder at a block of flats in Highfield.
