Forensics officers are examining a street in Sheffield today after a man was murdered.

They are carrying out crime scene investigation work in Club Garden Road on the Lansdowne estate in Highfield, this afternoon.

A 28-year-old man was found seriously injured there at around 2.15am yesterday and died in hospital a short time later, triggering a murder probe.

A 30-year-old man was arrested and remains in police custody.

Police have part of Club Garden Road taped off and a nearby flat, where blood can be seen outside.
