Young Sheffield dad caught carrying cocaine stash after crashing car
Junaid Fazal agreed to be “custodian” of the 81 grams of powder while under “extreme pressure” and “fear”, a court heard
A young Sheffield dad was caught holding thousands of pounds worth of cocaine after crashing a car, a court heard.
Junaid Fazal, aged 21, had agreed to be “custodian” of the 81 grams of powder while under “extreme pressure” and “fear”, said his barrister.

When his home was raided on March 27 last year after the crash, police also found £9,750, said Joseph Bell, prosecuting.
Recorder Robert Ward noted Fazal had only one previous conviction for a driving matter, was “scared” and had in the past been “kidnapped”.
He was jailed for 18 months suspended for 18 months and handed 150 hours of unpaid work.
Father-of-one Fazal, of Ferrars Road, Tinsley, admitted possession with intent to supply cocaine and acquiring criminal property.
