These are the faces of criminals locked up by Sheffield judges this month.
The crimes they’re responsible for comprise of drug dealing, drive-by shootings, domestic abuse, burglary, child sexual abuse and police misconduct.
One of the defendants was a police officer who sparked an eight-month affair with a “vulnerable” crime victim - visiting her while off-duty on the pretext of investigating a stolen car.
In another case a 25-year-old man bludgeoned an elderly woman, leaving her with facial fractures in a savage attempt to rape her in a Sheffield park.

9. Chloe Hall
Hardened store snatcher Hall had 122 offences on her record when she was jailed after pilfering from Boots while banned from even entering. Chloe Hall, 27, swiped goods - mainly make-up, razors and shampoo - from the same Barnsley Cheapside branch. Judge Nigel Slater jailed Hall for 20 months. | SYP

10. Malachi Reid
Reid's drug dealings had taken him as far afield as Inverness, Scotland, in the past when he was caught selling to the addicts in Sheffield city centre. The 31-year-old was observed entering an alley near Peace Gardens with buyers on August 24, 2024 and detained by three police officers who uncovered eight wraps of crack worth £80, £26 in coins and £45 in bank notes. Reid had 12 previous convictions for 15 offences including three drug matters - one of which resulted in 15 months’ jail for selling heroin in Scotland. He was jailed for two-and-a-half years. | SYP

11. David Bridges was jailed for 27 months
Violent husband Bridges, 60, smashed a lampshade over his wife’s head when he “turned nasty” after too much to drink, a court heard. He was tied to a restraining order in respect of his estranged partner of 30 years at the time - having served 20 months’ jail for previous violence against her. Bridges, of Doncaster Road, Barnsley, was jailed for 27 months. | SYP

12. Jake Abrahams
Dogged Sheffield stalker Abrahams, 31, called and messaged his harangued ex 94 times in one hour - “tracking” her where abouts by hacking Facebook and Apple accounts and using Vinted to badger her when he was blocked on other platforms. He even climbed through an upstairs window via a ladder to get into his former family home and in an ordeal that continued for “hours” he threatened to “murder” his ex if she started another relationship. Joseph Bell, prosecuting, told Sheffield Crown Court that Abrahams and his victim had three children and had been together since the age of 15 - however in 2024 the defendant’s behaviour deteriorated due to drug and alcohol use. He was jailed for 21 months. | SYP
