These are the faces of criminals locked up by Sheffield judges this month.
The crimes they’re responsible for comprise of drug dealing, drive-by shootings, domestic abuse, burglary, child sexual abuse and police misconduct.
One of the defendants was a police officer who sparked an eight-month affair with a “vulnerable” crime victim - visiting her while off-duty on the pretext of investigating a stolen car.
In another case a 25-year-old man bludgeoned an elderly woman, leaving her with facial fractures in a savage attempt to rape her in a Sheffield park.

13. John BRAITCH
Pervy Rotherham sex pest Braitch, 45, badgered a teenage girl for naked images of herself and was caught with a photo of a woman engaged in a sex act with “multiple” animals, a court heard. He had the gross image seized by police when the teenage girl he was pestering confided in someone and officers began investigating. He was jailed for 21 months and handed a 10-year sexual harm prevention order. | SYP

14. Paul Sinclair
Serial Rotherham misogynist Sinclair who put a “vulnerable” woman through five years of violence - on one occasion puncturing her jaw with a set of keys - has been jailed. Paul Sinclair, aged 37, placed his partner in “headlocks” on four occasions, causing her to pass out. He kicked her, causing ligament damage; gave her two black eyes during a holiday in Portugal and locked her out on a balcony while she was naked. He was jailed for two-and-a-half years. | SYP

15. Robert Veza
Off-duty Sheffield police officer Veza, 45, pestered a vulnerable female physiotherapist for “thumb treatment” - having turned up at her house on the pretext of investigating a stolen car. He sparked an eight-month affair with the woman - whose PTSD was known to trigger self-harm and missing persons appeals - “deliberately taking advantage of his position”, Sheffield Crown Court heard. The disgraced former constable - who resigned during an investigation - had “full intercourse” with the complainant during a consultation, telling her “I’m not here for the treatment”. He was handed 16 months’ jail suspended for 18 months and a 10-year restraining order. | SYP

16. Jordan Clare
Clare’s now ex-partner hid behind a car until police showed up following a beating inside a caravan at a Lincolnshire holiday park. When they arrived the Sheffield thug went out, later returning after a trip to the pub drunk. When police arrived she appeared from behind the vehicle “with just one shoe”, “hysterical” and looking “fearfully” behind her saying “he’s here”. He was jailed for four-and-a-half years. | SYP
