These are the faces of criminals locked up by Sheffield judges this month.

The crimes they’re responsible for comprise of drug dealing, drive-by shootings, domestic abuse, burglary, child sexual abuse and police misconduct.

One of the defendants was a police officer who sparked an eight-month affair with a “vulnerable” crime victim - visiting her while off-duty on the pretext of investigating a stolen car.

In another case a 25-year-old man bludgeoned an elderly woman, leaving her with facial fractures in a savage attempt to rape her in a Sheffield park.

Sutherland, 33, stalked and threatened to kill his ex-girlfriend. During one incident he “threw bottles” at the complainant’s home. He also let himself into the house and climbed into bed with his ex and their baby daughter. Sutherland, of Castledale Place, Manor, was jailed for 26 months.
