Popular Sheffield pub set to re-open after months of closure this week with new name and new look
200-year-old-pub has been closed since the summer
The Foresters, on the corner of Division Street and Rockingham Street, has been closed for weeks, for a £300,000 revamp.

Now bosses have confirmed that it will be back open again soon - under the new name of the Six Barrel Drafthouse.
Andy Crawford, managing director of the owners, Pub People, said he was delighted it was set to re-open.
He added: “We will be using many local breweries as the pub focuses on cask ales and craft beers. The refurbishment, at a cost of almost £300,000 has been designed so that the Six Barrels compliments the other exciting beer orientated pubs in that area.

“There is a completely new look inside with a more urban industrial feel to the pub and externally we have created a more accessible outdoor trading space.”
He said that the hope was to be open on Thursday (October 15), but there was still some work to complete.
The Foresters on Division Street closed in August with a sign on the front door saying that the venue would remain closed until further notice.
The pub, on the corner with Rockingham Street, has been owned by Pub People for two years.
The Foresters describes itself as is a long standing pub in the heart of Sheffield city centre, which has been part of the city’s social scene since 1828.
It re-opened in 2023 under its traditional name of The Foresters two years ago, in a move which saw it return to being a traditional pub.
It saw a small scale redesign at that point, including a change to its frontage which was repainted a new colour.
For several years prior to that, the building had operated under the name of The Gatsby, a cocktail bar which served Mexican food, including tacos.
It has also been known in the past by the name of The Yorick, the name it had on its sign in the 90s and early 2000s.
