New details revealed for proposed Sheffield city centre fast food restaurant 'Wingstop'

A new fast food restaurant has laid out plans to open a site in Sheffield with outdoor seating facilities.
Wingstop opened a a restaurant in Meadowhall last October and the American chain is now setting its sights on opening a new venue at Barker’s Pool.
New plans submitted to Sheffield City Council have revealed that if approved, this restaurant - located next to The Box - would include 12 seats outside, marked off by Wingstop-styled barriers.
This outdoor seating area would be in operation from 8am to 10.30pm every day, and would not include any external speakers.
The restaurant itself would have 54 covers, with a window at the front for takeaways and deliveries.
A planning document adds: “Wingstop have a track record of operating high-quality restaurant venues across the UK and managing external seating areas responsibly.
“The company places a strong emphasis on responsible operation and customer management, ensuring that external spaces are supervised and managed appropriately.”
The application is currently open for comments, with the council set to make a decision by October 15.
