Hopes for pub re-opening as bosses step up search for new landlord at Sheffield local
Pub has been closed for several months
Plans are being put in place to re-open a popular Sheffield pub which has been closed for months.

The Anvil, on Stannington Road, near Hillsborough, closed in May, after its previous landlords left the pub.
Pub company Stonegate is now stepping up the hunt for new bosses.

Described as a “busy, wet-led community pub,” bosses say the venue sits at the heart of its neighbourhood and already has an established, regular customer base.
Pav Sharma, regional manager at Stonegate Pub Partners, said: “The Anvil is a fantastic wet-led community pub that genuinely sits at the heart of local life. It's a pub with a loyal customer base, a brilliant atmosphere and a strong reputation.
“Weekends are particularly busy, while during the week we see regular trade from local residents, walkers and dog walkers. The pub naturally lends itself to quiz nights, live sport, sports teams, live music and social events, all of which are hugely popular with guests.
“For the right operator, this is an excellent opportunity to build on an already successful business.”
The Anvil is available through Stonegate Pub Partners on a Fixed Term Tenancy agreement and currently has reduced first-year rent and flexible deal options.
