Free Halloween light shows and pumpkin hunt at Meadowhall
Families visiting Meadowhall can take part in a pumpkin hunt and watch a Halloween light show as part of the centre’s seasonal programme.

The giant light curtain outside the Oasis Dining Quarter has been transformed for Halloween, with a show featuring spooky sound effects running every 15 minutes between 4pm and 9pm. Performances will continue until October 31.
At Fun Station, families can search for hidden clues in a spooky pumpkin hunt before attempting to crack a code. Those who complete the challenge have the chance to win a free treat. The activity runs until November 1.
Halloween-themed food is also available across the centre. Krispy Kreme has introduced limited-edition doughnuts, including Mummy Mia, filled with vanilla marshmallow fluff, and the pumpkin-inspired Patch Perfect, featuring butterscotch flavours and sprinkles.
Darren Pearce, centre director at Meadowhall, said: “Keeping the kids entertained over half-term isn’t always easy, especially when the weather isn’t on your side. Whether it’s a trip to the cinema, a family meal out or picking up some bits for Halloween crafts at home, there are plenty of ways to keep little ones busy.
“We also know that costs can add up during the school holidays, so offers like kids eat free can be a real help. Hopefully these ideas give families a bit of inspiration for the week ahead.”
