Celebrate ten years of change at the Bingham Park Discovery Day
A Sheffield park is inviting residents to celebrate a decade of improvements and hard work at a special Discovery Day.

Bingham Park Community Group was set up in November 2016 to encourage the community to take an active part in the redevelopment of facilities in the Park.
Over the past ten years, the Park has undergone a major transformation, including new and upgraded sport and play areas, improved walking paths, new planting schemes and enhanced wildlife habitats. The open day will mark this milestone while showcasing how the Park has become a vibrant space for recreation, nature, and community life.
The free event will feature a variety of activities for all ages, including nature walks and talks, introductory session to Petanque (boules), Pickleball, Bowling and much more. For information on the day and the opportunity to sign up for sessions head to the Bowling Green Clubhouse. Teas, Coffees, Cakes and Ice creams will be on sale. More information also on Facebook: Bingham Park Community Group.
Mike Jones, chair of the Bingham Park Community Group said: “Over the past ten years, the park has become a place where people can relax, play, and connect with nature. This open day is a chance to celebrate everything that has been achieved and to thank the community whose support has made this possible”.
The Bingham Park Discovery Day is on Sunday, May 17, from 10am to 4pm.
