McClure, who is also the chairman of Sheffield FC, shared an update on Facebook informing fans he’s currently recovering in hospital after a fall on his scooter.

McClure’s post on Facebook reads: “A little update from me. I had an accident yesterday, doing summat daft on a scooter. It’s my own fault and I feel a bit stupid and embarrassed tbh.

“I’m just in the hozzy waiting on whether it’s a cracked rib or not. It’s very painful.

“This weekend’s gigs @togetheragainfest and @tramlines will go ahead even if I have to dose myself up . Hopefully it’s just a knock.

“Might need a cuddle tho. Proper shook me up. Feeling a bit blue. Jon.”

Reverend & The Makers are due to perform at Tramlines on Sunday, July 26 in a jam-packed line-up which also features headliners such as Wolf Alice and Wet Leg.

The Sheffield-group, who released their debut album The State of Things in 2007, performed at the inaugural festival in 2009 and have been a huge part of Tramlines’ success with further performances in 2018, 2019, 2022 and 2023.
