Jake Bugg announces only Yorkshire date on intimate 2027 tour – here's how to get Sheffield tickets

Lightning Bolt singer-songwriter Jake Bugg is heading to Sheffield City Hall for his only Yorkshire show on a new stripped-back UK and Ireland tour – here’s how you can get tickets
Jake Bugg will return to Yorkshire in 2027 with an intimate solo show at Sheffield City Hall on Thursday, February 18, 2027.

The chart-topper will play the venue as part of a newly announced 10-date UK and Ireland tour. It is currently the only Yorkshire date on the itinerary and will be the musician’s next Yorkshire gig after his 2025 appearance at the city’s Tramlines Festival.
The tour accompanies Bugg’s seventh studio album, Alamo, which will be released on November 13 through Thirty Tigers, with first track Never Can Tell out now.
The new record sees the 32-year-old Nottingham musician return to his folk and country-leaning roots, with an 11-track collection exploring love, loneliness and isolation.
Bugg said making Alamo felt like the right moment to “look inward”, with the album designed to show a more open and vulnerable side to his songwriting.
His 2027 concerts will similarly strip things back, putting Bugg and his guitar at the centre of the show following almost 15 years of albums, festivals and touring.
The Sheffield concert follows a February 17 appearance at The Glasshouse in Gateshead, before he heads to Liverpool, Bristol and his hometown Nottingham, finishing the UK and Ireland run at London’s Union Chapel on February 26.
