Sheffield Wednesday officially confirmed former Watford boss Xisco Munoz as their new manager earlier this week and the talk is quickly turning towards what moves the new man could make in the summer transfer window.
Speaking at his unveiling there were hints that it could be a hectic period at Hillsborough as the 42-year-old looks to put his own stamp on the squad he inherited from Darren Moore.
He told The Star: “We are looking at the short-term, medium-term and long-term. All Championship clubs need these three things, most importantly the first two, and if you have the capacity then the third one. We need to assess the squad and after that, we will see.”
So what could lie in wait as Owls supporters look forward to an intriguing summer transfer window? The Star utilises the services of Football Manager 2023 to see what moves the world’s most popular management simulation predicts Munoz will make ahead of his first season in charge.
