5. Miguel Llera
ANother who initially signed on loan, Llera made the permanent switch to Hillsborough where he stayed until 2014 before joining Scunthorpe. He returned to Wednesday a year later as a scout and having set up his own academy also worked in schools in the Sheffield area. He was as an academy coach at Chesterfield until 2019 before joning Walsall in a similar capacity. Photo: Steve Ellis
6. Jose Semedo
Much-loved at Wednesday, Semedo would stay on at Wednesday until 2017 and play an important role on and off the pitch before heading home to Portugal in 2017 to sign for Vitoria Setubal where he remains, at the age of 35 Photo: Steve Ellis
7. Chris Lines
Now 34, Lines played 47 times all all competitions that season and was a hugely influential figure in the Owls winning promotion. Injury hampered his season in the Championship and he would eventualy go out on loan to MK Dons before sihning for Port Vale in League One the following summer. He would have a loan spell at home town club Bristol Rovers before returning there permently and left last year after being released, and joined Northampton where he remains Photo: Steve Ellis
8. Keith Treacy
Treacy had been on the bech for much of his time at Wednesday but kept his place againt Wycombe after a goal and an assist a week earlier at Brentford. Retrned to Burnley after that and would eventually sign for Barnsley two years later. Left Oakwell after just six months and returned home to the Republic of Ireland. Played for Drogheda and St Pats Athletic but then retired. Has since spoken about how he suffered from depression and alcoholism during his career Photo: Steve Ellis
