13. Ryan Lowe
Lowe has playe a bit-part in promotion and after spending a year at Hillsborough he was off to MK Dons. From there he retured to the North West and Tranmere before further comebacks at Bury and Crewe. A third spell at Bury was how he cut his managerial teeth, as player coach firstly and then two caretaker roles in charge before being given the job full-time. 14. Jermaine Johnson
A cult figure among Owls fans, Johnson would stay at Hillsborough until 2014 before moving to play in the US with Indy Eleven and then eventually return to his native Jamaica and Tivoli Garden where he retired Photo: Steve Ellis
15. Rob Jones
The big defender, who had been captain under Gary Megson, also left Wednesday that summer and made the short switch to Doncaster where he spent four years which included a couple of spells in caretaker charge. 16. Nicky Weaver
Weaver was on the bench for the match againt Wycombe having lost his place earlier in the season through injury. He left Hillsborough a year later, with Chris Kirkland instilled as No 1 and joined Aberdenn before returning to the Owls to take up a job as Academy goalkeeping coach.
