Garry Monk fielded a very young Owls team, handing a debut to teenager, Liam Waldock, that was unable to stand up to a strong Fulham side who were clinical with their chances and secured their place in the next round. SWFC will now turn their focus back to the Championship.

Wasn't as influential as he'd have liked to have been, and was outshone a little bit Odubajo on the other flank. A decent showing from the long-time Owls defender though. Photo: Steve Ellis
6. Moses Odubajo - 7
Arguably Wednesday's best performer on the night. Was an attacking threat throughout and didn't put a foot wrong defensively. If it wasn't for a couple of good Rodak saves he could've had a goal or two as well - never mind at least one assist. Photo: Steve Ellis
7. Joey Pelupessy - 6
Another solid performance from Pelupessy in the heart of midfield, performing his role as a breaker adequately even if he wasn't acceptable. A tidy night at the office for him. Photo: Nathan Stirk

Put in a good shift in the middle, showed glimpses of his ability and showcased his strength on occasion, too. Will be disappointed not to have gotten his first Wednesday goal after being teed up by Odubajo in the first half. Photo: Steve Ellis
