One confirmed deal in, two already out. Just 11 days in, the Owls are looking to do business early as they seek to give Danny Rohl's squad a further boost in their increasingly optimistic survival mission.
There's a lot going on behind the scenes and stories are emerging, with The Star having reported a number of potential ins and outs as we approach the halfway stage of the window.
Here's a whistle-stop run-down of all the stories as we have them from Middlewood Road.
13. Devis Vasquez
Started out with a decent run of performances between the sticks under Xisco, it became clear that Vasquez wasn't Danny Rohl's man and after James Beadle's signing was secured it appeared clear he'd be moving on. His exit was confirmed and he has since signed for Serie B Ascoli. | Getty Images
14. Ike Ugbo
The scorer of four Championship goals this season, attacker Ugbo was confirmed as a Wednesday player after the termination of his time at Cardiff by parent club Troyes in the second week of the window. 15. Tyreeq Bakinson
A 25-year-old with talent that never quite got going at S6, Bakinson was allowed out on loan to Charlton Athletic having played a bit-part role in proceedings this season. Photo: Ashley Allen/Getty Images
16. Jeff Hendrick
Out with a knee injury, The Star understands Wednesday have had talks with Newcastle over a potential termination of his loan deal but that the Republic of Ireland international is set to stay on at S6. | Getty Images
