One confirmed deal in, two already out. Just 11 days in, the Owls are looking to do business early as they seek to give Danny Rohl's squad a further boost in their increasingly optimistic survival mission.
There's a lot going on behind the scenes and stories are emerging, with The Star having reported a number of potential ins and outs as we approach the halfway stage of the window.
Here's a whistle-stop run-down of all the stories as we have them from Middlewood Road.

17. Conor Coventry
Revealed as a Wednesday target by The Star, then-West Ham midfielder Coventry held discussions with the club over a permanent switch. Talks fell down, however, and for a number of reported reasons - not least promises over playing time - Coventry has since signed for Charlton Athletic. Photo: Marc Atkins/Getty Images

18. James Beadle
Another done deal. Brighton ripped up a loan deal with League One Oxford United to allow him to join up with his former Seagulls coach Sal Bibbo - he's on loan for the remainder of the campaign. The youngster is very highly rated and will hope to continue the momentum he built up with the Yellows. He has played once so far and injury to Dawson offers a clear run at the prime spot between the sticks. | Getty Images

19. John Buckley
His Wednesday race is run, having been had his loan with Blackburn Rovers terminated in the first story of the window. He's out for a couple of months with a shoulder injury and will hope to make a return for his home club later in the season. Photo: Ben Roberts Photo/Getty Images

20. Myles Peart-Harris
A name believed to have been on Wednesday's list of possible loan additions, Peart-Harris signed to join a League One title tilt with Portsmouth earlier this month. Photo: Kevin C. Cox/Getty Images for Premier League
