One confirmed deal in, two already out. Just 11 days in, the Owls are looking to do business early as they seek to give Danny Rohl's squad a further boost in their increasingly optimistic survival mission.
There's a lot going on behind the scenes and stories are emerging, with The Star having reported a number of potential ins and outs as we approach the halfway stage of the window.
Here's a whistle-stop run-down of all the stories as we have them from Middlewood Road.

9. Liam Palmer
The Star revealed that the Owls stalwart and club vice-captain is of interest to clubs in the US, with clubs in the MLS and lower in their system having expressed an interest. He is able to be signed on a pre-contract basis by foreign clubs but has spoken of a desire to stay on and continue climbing the all-time appearance list ladder. | PA

10. Mike Biereth
Ended up at Austrian side Sturm Graz having been close to becoming a Wednesday player. The talented young Arsenal forward was a prime target but was whisked away by the promise of a title tilt and European football. | Getty Images

11. Marvin Johnson
The subject of very real interest from Ipswich Town, Johnson is a man bang in form. They've made a speculative bid but it's a long way short of what is likely to be accepted, it's understood. | Getty Images

12. Ciaran Brennan
Back from his loan with Hartlepool United, young defender Brennan is a player that could move on, The Star understands. He has a few months remaining on his contract and could move beyond the window on loan if he is to repeat the trick of moving on loan to a non-league club. Photo: Frank Reid
