It is not the first time that there have been issues with regards to full payment of wages at the club amid a very difficult period financially for clubs all over the world, however the club always pay up.
The Star understands that – as has been the case in the past – any players earning below £7,000 per month have been paid in full, but others above that level have been paid that amount for the time being – with the rest set to be paid at some point in the future.

Speaking to the media earlier in the year after the last reports of late payments, Dejphon Chansiri said, “In the COVID situation we don’t have any revenue… At the beginning we thought it’d be just a few months, but now it’s been almost a year.
“We never deferred player wages like another club, and we tried our best…
“The payments will be paid, just a little bit late. We have expenses every day, every month. Everyone has a problem -- we have a problem with cash flow -- but at the end the players will get paid.”
