Sheffield Wednesday issue season ticket reminder as deadline looms
Sheffield Wednesday supporters have only a few hours left to take advantage of the most cost-effective method to secure a season ticket for the 2026/27 campaign.
Sheffield Wednesday have reminded supporters they have until midnight tonight (Monday) to take advantage of the most cost-effective opportunity to secure their seat at Hillsborough for the 2026/27 season.
The first phase of season ticket sales remains open until midnight this evening online and until 5pm at the Owls Megastore. Up-take has been huge from Wednesdayites this summer following the completion of Arise Capital Partners’ takeover of the club at the start of last month.
Season tickets went on sale on May 15 and more than 10,000 were snapped up over the opening weekend. The Owls, last Thursday, confirmed they had set a new club-record of selling 20,908 season tickets for a campaign at Hillsborough.
Chief executive David Bruce revealed last month he had set a target of reaching north of 21,000 sales - a figure Wednesday look set to smash with ease. Excitement and optimism is sweeping its way around Hillsborough as Arise begin the task of putting the club back on its feet after several years worth of decline under former owner Dejphon Chansiri.
With time running out for supporters to purchase a season ticket for next term via the most cost-effective method, Wednesday have issued a reminder to fans that the first phase deadline is fast approaching.
Supporters still have the opportunity to spread the cost across five equal, interest-free payments with zero set-up fees. The club has confirmed supporters can pay 20 per cent at the time of purchasing their season ticket and then make four monthly payments to be paid on July 1, August 1, September 1 and October 1 using a debit or credit card.
Wednesday have also confirmed that payment plans are currently only available during this phase of sales. Any unrenewed seats from the 2025/26 campaign will be released following tonight’s deadline.
Wednesday have confirmed season tickets will be briefly taken off sale for ‘the remainder of this week’ to give the club the opportunity to process multi-year and ten-year season tickets. They will go back on sale next Monday, and further information will be released in due course.
