What Max Lowe has to do to earn more first-team opportunities at Sheffield United

Max Lowe says he has been assured that he will receive more opportunities to impress in a Sheffield United shirt if he continues to work hard - something the former Derby County wing-back admits is "a given" for him anyway.

Lowe, who signed for United in the last transfer window, is expected to make his latest Premier League appearance this weekend when the Blades travel to Stamford Bridge to face Chelsea.

And while Lowe was delighted to be back on the pitch after suffering concussion against Fulham, he has also set his sights on cementing his place down the left wing.

"It was good to get back out there after my concussion," Lowe admitted.

"It was probably the quickest debut I've ever had!

"We need to kick on now. The gaffer's said I'll get my opportunities if I work hard, which is a given for me.

"I want to keep learning and hopefully I can stay in the team and do that."
